Pick a file, say how many pages each part should have, and take your PDFs. Everything happens inside your browser.

Your files never leave your device
Nothing is uploaded. The PDF is processed by the page itself, inside your browser, so neither we nor the hosting provider ever see the document.
How it works
- Choose a PDF or drag it onto the drop zone.
- Set how many pages each part should contain.
- Grab the parts one by one or as a single ZIP.
When splitting a PDF helps
- Email attachment limits. Gmail rejects attachments over 25 MB and Outlook over 20 MB. Split a large scan into parts and send them in separate messages.
- Upload forms with a size cap. Government portals, banks and job sites often accept only small files — cut the document into parts that fit.
- You only need part of a document. Send a colleague one chapter of a report or textbook instead of the whole file.
- Printing and signing in batches. A long document is easier to print, sign and review in equal parts.
Questions & answers
Is there a file size limit?
No server limit — only your browser’s memory. A few hundred megabytes is fine on an ordinary computer.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. No sign-up, no file count limits, no watermarks.
Is quality preserved?
Yes. Pages are copied as they are, with no re-rendering or compression — text stays text.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The page runs in the browser on iPhone and Android, with nothing to install.
Can I split a password-protected PDF?
Not directly. Open the file in a PDF reader, remove the password, save a copy and split that copy.
How are the parts named?
The original file name plus the part number and page range, for example report_part2_p11-20.pdf. You can set your own prefix.
